The rooms of the old bakery are suitable for celebrations and private events of all kinds:

We have two function rooms for celebrations, which can also be combined into a large hall if required. A large terrace invites you to relax and enjoy on warmer, sunny days. Under the umbrella heaters the evening can end quietly until well into the night. On cooler days the fireplace exudes a cosy, rustic charm and provides cosy warmth for you and your guests.

Especially on birthdays and anniversaries, but also at weddings, old children’s photos or short films are presented. For this purpose we provide you with our modern technical equipment. The rooms for family celebrations are equipped with projectors and screens as well as a high-quality BOSE sound system, which can also be used with a microphone.

In the meantime, you can use our third event room for big events parallel to the children’s programme, as a preparation room for performances or for the realisation of your very own ideas. Like all rooms, it offers the full range of sound and image reproduction.

Our kitchen is equipped with high-quality electrical appliances and is suitable for cooking and baking, as well as for storing and presenting ready-made meals. If you would like to hire a chef or a catering company, we will be happy to provide you with our modern kitchen. In addition, we will also be happy to take care of your physical well-being ourselves.

Das Alte Backhaus is located on a large 46.000m² plot of land, directly at the main lake. Here you and your guests can escape from everyday life and relax and unwind. The centre of Burg is only two kilometres away. The nearest motorway junction is about ten kilometres away. The old bakery is easily accessible and nevertheless convinces by its quiet, idyllic location.

The Old Bakery is a luxurious holiday complex that accommodates four exclusive holiday apartments for two to six people in addition to the spacious function rooms for family celebrations. Guests who have travelled far away do not have to return home on the same evening, but can spend the night in our holiday apartments. Each apartment has its own bathroom, kitchen, one or two bedrooms and a large living-dining area.
